Battle of the Bands

ACRA's 4th Annual Battle of the Bands. October 16th, 12pm at Mollie Joyce Park, Pioneer. Free admission, live local bands. Call ACRA at 223-6349 if your band is interested in participating. Download the flyer.

Big Wheel Extravaganza

All ages welcome. Bring your own big wheel (limited number of loaners available). Helmets required. Several heats including daredevils and politicians. Download the flyer. Order your limited edition ACRA Big Wheel Extravanganza t-shirt. See the shirt design.

Dancing - Swing Dance Class

Every Thursday night starting August 5th at Sutter Creek Auditorium. Class from 7:30pm - 8:30pm, dancing from 8:30pm - 11:30pm. Come alone or with a partner. Beginner lessons each night. Only $5! Download the flyer.

Disc Golf Course in Pioneer

ACRA is building a permanent disc golf course at Mollie Joyce Park in Pioneer. Now is your chance to get involved! We need Basket Sponsors for the course, which is the first of its kind in Amador County. For just $500, you can permanently display your business name year-round. Volunteer to help ACRA auger the baskets, make trails for the course, or clear brush. For more volunteer info or to sponsor, call Matt at 223-6373.

Flag Football

1st-8th grades. Games held Sundays at Jackson Jr. High. Registration deadline is Sept 16 and games start Sept 26! Download the flyer and the registration form.

Gaming - Halo Tournament

September 25th 5-9pm at ACRA. 4-person teams, bring your own controller. Download the flyer.

Guitar Lessons

There is still room to sign up for ACRA's guitar lessons. Matt Nestor teaches many different styles and genres, including finger picking, blues and metal. Classes are $10 for each 30-minute weekly group session. Donated equipment is available for use (2 guitars, amp, strings, picks, chords, books etc.) To register or for more information, contact Matt Nestor at 223-6373.

Laser Tag

Laser Tag

Laser Tag at Perry Earl Park in Ione. Every Thursday in September from 3-6pm. $2 games Everyone Welcome! For more info, call ACRA at (209) 223-6373 or download flyer.

Let ACRA host Laser Tag at your next party! Birthdays of all ages, private parties and more. Games include up to 20 people. The cost is $75 per hour and includes one ACRA staff member. For more information or to book your party, plase call 223-6349 or e-mail ktraverso@amadorgov.org

Photography Classes in Pioneer

The newly-renovated Mollie Joyce House off of Highway 88 in Pioneer is proud to offer Beginning Photography Classes. Classes start August 29th and the fee is $125 for 3 sessions. Call for times and scheduling. Open darkroom first Saturday of every month upon request. $10 per hour. Contact Adam Lindsey 223-6373.

Rush to the Crush

Run the first ever Rush to the Crush through the outskirts of scenic Shenandoah Valley. The race will kick off the weekend of the harvest wine festival "the Big Crush" on October 2. 5K and 10K distances, registration is $20. Register before September 15 to receive t-shirt. Softball - Men's League

Summer Men's softball starts May 17th. 1st Tournament weekend of May 22nd. Team/Ref meeting on April 7, 7:00 p.m. at the Scout Hut at Pioneer Park. All games are at Pioneer Park and will be Monday-Thursday 5 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Season goes from May-July. Download schedule. Several tournaments held in June & July. Softball - Co-Ed League

Co-ed softball starts May 7th. Meeting April 13th at the Health and Human Services Building in Sutter Creek at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $300.00 per team. For more info, call ACRA at (209) 223-6373 or download flyer.

Swimming Pool Info

Plymouth
ACRA is proud to offer aquatic services at the Plymouth pool including swimming lessons, lap swims, recreational swimming, party rental and special pool events like our "Dive-In Movies". Special rates are available for families and season passes. The Plymouth pool is located by the front entrance to the Amador County Fairgrounds and will be open weekends starting May 29th.

Tennis - Junior Team League

Ages 7-14 play doubles on co-ed teams in three levels. Beginners welcome. Each team has one practice per week after school and one match on Sunday afternoons Sept. 26 - Oct. 31. Registration deadline is August 27. For more info, visit Amador Tennis Club's Jr. Team Tennis page.
